I have to say, the new office space for rent is quite the sight. We have some of the cubicles and desks set up but most of the space is still bare. Upon entering the entrance it looks like a small dance studio but without the dancing rails and large mirrors. The light wooden floorboards are shining and it looks like they have been freshly cleaned and waxed. Look to the right and there is one L-shaped room with windows and its own bathroom. But when looking to the left of the entrance is my absolute favorite part of the office: the large windows overlooking the street. It does not look like we will be wanting for natural light any time soon.
There is another small hallway to the right of our new office space for rent with three additional rooms. There is already a plan to make the closest room in the hall the office kitchen. In fact, there is already a water cooler (unplugged) and a table with a coffee maker (plugged) set up. The overall plan is to set up cubicles, desks, and computers for five to six departments on the main floor of the new office space and everyone else in the other rooms.
I suspect the company will be staying in this new office for a long time to come.
